Agreement

These terms are between you and [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS]. By using Hither you accept them.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. During the beta, a new account needs an invite code, and each code works once.

What the service does

Hither is a guide. You ask out loud, it looks at your screen, answers in a sentence or two, and marks a place on the screen. It does not click, type or act for you.

It is an AI, not a person, and it can be wrong. Every point shows its confidence as Exact, Approximate or None. Check what it tells you before you act, especially when the result is hard to undo.

Your account

You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. Keep access to that email. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

Free and Pass

• Free: 300 turns per UTC calendar month and 30 per day, during the launch period. These limits are provisional.
• Pass: No Pass is sold during the free period. A Pass is not needed right now.

How turns are charged

A turn is charged only if it reached the first audio of an answer. If it never starts answering, it’s free. Stopping after the answer has started is charged.

Limits

We limit use to keep the service running: 10 turns a minute, 30 turns a day, 20 notes a day, and 20 refunded turns a day per person. Answers are kept short by design.

Payment

Paddle is the merchant of record and handles payment and tax. Paddle’s own terms apply to the purchase.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights, including recording people without the notice or consent your location requires.
• Don’t try to get around limits, share codes for gain, or attack, reverse engineer or resell the service.
• Keep sensitive material off the display you’re asking about, or use Pause. Sensitive App Guard does not cover browser tabs.

Your content

What’s on your screen and what you say stays yours. We use it only to answer you, as the privacy policy describes.

Other apps

We are not affiliated with the apps you use it with. Their terms still apply to your use of them.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. An active Pass is forfeited on deletion. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
