What counts as a turn
- A turn is one question and its answer.
- Hold the hotkey, ask, let go. A hold too short to be a question isn’t a turn.
- It’s charged only when the answer starts.
- A crash, your Mac going to sleep, a lost connection, a provider failure, or stopping before the first word: none of these cost a turn.
- Stopping after it starts still counts.
- Once it has started speaking, that turn is used, even if you interrupt it.
- Your count is always visible.
- Your turns left are in the menu bar panel. It warns you at 20% left and never interrupts a turn to do it.
